I'm Rohan, a seasoned Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the IT industry. During this time, I have had the opportunity to work on various projects and have honed my skills in different areas of software development.
I had the honor of being part of the founding team at Dyte (website: dyte.io), a startup accepted into the prestigious Y Combinator 2021 cohort. My role as a member of the engineering team involved working with a variety of programming languages, including Typescript, Python, Golang, and Rust. My contributions to the team extended beyond just programming, however. I was also deeply involved in the design and development of the company's tech infrastructure, which included implementing and maintaining server architecture, monitoring system performance, and collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration of our software applications.
Dyte was later acquired by Cloudflare, and its technology has since evolved into RealtimeKit, powering secure, real-time communication experiences. I am currently continuing my journey at Cloudflare, contributing to the growth and development of this exciting product.
I have been actively involved in web development since 2018 and have been deeply interested in cybersecurity since 2019. I strongly believe that my extensive knowledge and experience in web development and cybersecurity allow me to create not only performant but also highly secure applications. In the past, I've also had the wonderful opportunity to lead an engineering team at a former startup called Camcann. During my time there, I gained invaluable experience in managing and motivating a team of 7 talented engineers.
