I recently consulted with Sam regarding my project to build two hangars at the Apopka Airport. Despite some small construction experience, I knew I needed guidance to make the project happen. Sam was very knowledgeable and provided helpful advice on how to proceed.
During our conversation, he recommended that I hire a licensed architect to provide me with complete plans and specifications, and find a general contractor who would be willing to take on the responsibility and liability of pulling the permit under their license and insurance. He also advised me to ensure that I was a co-insurer under their insurance policy for my protection.
Although we had initial estimates, Sam explained that without completed plans and specs, it would be difficult to receive accurate quotes/costs. He also advised me to go through a regular bidding process to get reliable bids to go to contract with subs and suppliers.
Overall, I am very satisfied with our consultation with Sam. His recommendations have been invaluable, and I feel more confident moving forward with my project. I highly recommend his services to anyone in need of consulting with someone who has decades of experience in the construction industry.
