I’m Alex Morsanutto, an award-winning writer, director, producer, screenwriter, and founder of Silvermine Productions. I help filmmakers, founders, brands, production companies, and startups turn ideas into scripts, pitch decks, commercials, branded films, crowdfunding videos, and production-ready creative packages.

My background sits at the intersection of film development, TV development, screenwriting, creative producing, and commercial video production. I can help bring a movie, TV pilot, limited series, or documentary concept to life — while also bringing that same cinematic storytelling, production discipline, and audience-first thinking to brand videos, product videos, YouTube scripts, social ads, Kickstarter campaigns, and short-form content.

Most recently, I wrote, directed, and produced Dark Skulls, a Viking psychological thriller feature film shot in Norway with an international cast and crew. I also produced TRAPPED, which won a Special Jury Award at SXSW, and Scent of Pho, a feature film with a worldwide release approaching $2M in gross.

On the commercial side, I’ve created video content for brands including Unilever, Mastercard, Chevrolet, Zenni, Kiehl’s, Brother, and The Atlantic.
