Concept artist services might include:

• Generate early-stage design concepts for logos, layouts, user interfaces, product labels, reports, and ads
  
• Incorporate copy, graphics, and photos to ensure clear communication of desired message and theme
  
• Adhere to client branding standards while selecting colors, fonts, and other design elements that meet design project goals
  
• Collaborate with photographers, designers, brand experts, front-end developers, and marketing to ensure design quality
  
• Review final productions for errors or major shifts in conveyed messaging
  

Requirements to become a freelance concept artist on Upwork:

• Must be over the age of 18 with an internet connection
  
• Experience is not required but is preferred
  

Preferred skills for concept artist freelancers:

• Background in visual art, photography, graphic design, or related field
  
• Excellent attention to detail
  
• Ability to translate written or verbalized concepts into visual designs
  
• Comfort creating multiple iterations of concept art to meet client needs
