Ethical hacking/cybersecurity services might include:

• Respond to incident requests and identify key problems and vulnerabilities
  
• Detect and uncover threat patterns across platforms 
  
• Run information recovery on tampered programs and products
  
• Perform website and application security audits and penetration tests to verify platform resiliency 
  
• Work closely with programmers and developers to troubleshoot and fix common problems  
  

Requirements to become an freelance ethical hacker/cybersecurity specialist on Upwork:

• Must be over the age of 18 with an internet connection
  
• Experience is not required but is preferred
  

Preferred skills for ethical hacker/cybersecurity freelancers:

• Experience in threat research and ethical hacking; certificate a plus
