Remote finance services might include:

• Review business intelligence, economic data, and market trends to create financial forecasts and reports
• Refine financial forecasting models to increase accuracy and usability
• Identify existing and potential financial issues and propose strategies for resolution
• Consult with investment firms, insurance providers, banks, and other financial entities to provide recommendations based on organizational goals
• Remain knowledgeable of current business and economic developments relevant to the client’s industry
  

Requirements to become a freelance remote finance specialist on Upwork:

• Must be over the age of 18 with an internet connection
• Experience is not required but is preferred
  

Preferred skills for remote finance freelancers:

• Experience working with finance professionals or in the finance industry
• Familiarity with principles of finance, business, or accounting
• Proven affinity for research, statistics, math, economics or a related analytical discipline
• Successful track record with investment banking, commercial banking, or venture capital
