3CX + ServiceM8 Integration (Call Logging, Recording & AI Transcription) *** ## **Description** We are looking for an experienced developer to build a custom integration between our **3CX phone system** and **ServiceM8**. The goal is to automatically capture phone calls, transcribe them, and attach all data to the relevant job in ServiceM8 with minimal manual input. *** ## **Scope of Work** ### 📞 3CX Integration * Capture inbound and outbound call events from 3CX (API / webhooks / Call Control API) * Retrieve: * Call recordings * AI-generated call transcripts (3CX transcription already enabled) * Call metadata (caller ID, time, duration) *** ### 🧩 Matching Logic * Match incoming phone numbers with: * existing ServiceM8 clients * and/or active jobs * If multiple jobs exist, apply a logical rule (e.g. latest active job) *** ### 📒 ServiceM8 Integration Using ServiceM8 API: * Automatically create/update: * Job diary entries / notes * Attach: * Call transcript (text) * Call recording (file or link) * Ensure proper linking to the correct job or client *** ### ⚙️ Middleware / Backend * Build a middleware service (preferred: Node.js, Python, or similar) * Host on AWS / Azure or similar environment * Implement: * Error handling * Logging * Retry logic *** ## **Deliverables** * Fully working integration (end-to-end) * Clean and documented code * Setup/deployment instructions * Basic support during testing phase *** ## **Required Experience** * Strong experience with: * REST APIs * Webhooks / event-driven systems * Experience with **VoIP or telephony systems** (3CX preferred) * Experience building integrations with CRM or job management systems * Cloud backend experience (AWS, Azure, etc.) *** ## **Preferred (Nice to Have)** * Experience with **3CX APIs** * Experience with **ServiceM8 API** * Experience with call transcription / speech-to-text systems *** ## **Project Details** * Type: Fixed price (preferred) * Budget: Open (please provide estimate based on scope) * Start: ASAP *** ## **To Apply** Please include: 1.
