Account Manager — Digital Marketing Agency (Part-Time, Remote, Hourly) About Us SEO Geek is a digital marketing agency founded in 2013 with offices in Missoula, MT and Phoenix, AZ. We help local service businesses grow with Google Ads, SEO, and websites built on proven, productized systems, not vague "activity." Nearly all of our leads come to us through Google rankings, YouTube, and referrals. We're geeks about results: no fluff, no jargon, just "are we getting results, are we making money?" The Role We're hiring an Account Manager who acts as the operational bridge between our clients, our sales process, and our fulfillment team. You will be the primary relationship manager for active accounts, help qualify our incoming lead flow, and occasionally roll up your sleeves in WordPress. What that looks like: Inbound Lead Triage: Act as the first human touchpoint for our inbound funnel. You will follow up with interested prospects, qualify the leads, and schedule discovery calls for our Sales closer. Lead Client Onboarding: Guide the kickoff process once a deal is signed, setting clear expectations and gathering exactly what the delivery team needs to execute. Manage the Relationship: Serve as the client's main point of contact through fulfillment. This means regular check-ins, reporting on results, answering questions, and catching issues before they become problems. Light WordPress Implementation: Jump in to help the delivery team with light website tasks, such as publishing new content, making minor page edits, and handling basic updates in WordPress. Coordinate with Delivery: Work alongside our fulfillment team (SEO, PPC, web dev) to ensure the work ships on time and matches the strategy that was sold. Expand Accounts: Spot opportunities to up-sell or cross-sell when stacking services would genuinely move the needle for the client's bottom line. You'll report to our Client Success Lead and work alongside our existing account management team. You're a Fit If You Have 2+ years of digital marketing experience, agency-side preferred. You should be able to hold a real conversation about Google Ads, SEO, or both, and explain them in plain English to a business owner. Inbound Management Skills: You don't need to be a hard closer, but you must be comfortable picking up the phone, calling back warm leads, qualifying them, and smoothly teeing them up for our closer. WordPress Proficiency: You know your way around the WordPress backend and can comfortably update text, publish content, and manage basic site adjustments. Top-tier communication skills, written and on video calls. You'll spend most of your day talking to business owners and translating strategy. Strong organization. You'll be juggling inbound lead follow-ups, managing a CRM pipeline, and handling active fulfillment clients simultaneously. Comfort with agency tech stacks. You are comfortable living in tools like Slack, Google Workspace, project management software, and CRMs (like GoHighLevel). A results-first mindset. We measure everything, including this role. Bonus points: experience with local service businesses (home services, legal, etc.), GoHighLevel build-outs, or working at a small agency where you wore multiple hats. Logistics Part-time, remote (US-based hours) Hourly rate Performance measured on inbound lead booking rate, revenue retention, and client response time—the same scorecard metrics we hold our whole team to.
