Account Manager for Performance Marketing Agency
Worldwide
We're a UK-based performance marketing agency working with clients in trading education and health niches. We run paid acquisition (primarily Meta), build funnels, and handle the tracking and reporting infrastructure behind them. We're looking for an Account Manager to own the client relationship end-to-end so the founder and delivery team can focus on the work itself. What you'll be doing Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients — building trust, managing expectations, and keeping relationships strong Running weekly/bi-weekly client calls: walking through performance, surfacing wins, addressing concerns, and setting the agenda for what's next Translating client requests and feedback into clear, actionable briefs for our internal team (media buyers, copywriters, tech) Owning deliverables and reporting deadlines — chasing internally where needed so clients always receive what they're promised, when they're promised it Flagging risks early (campaign performance, scope creep, missed expectations) before they become problems Keeping internal project management tools updated so everyone knows what's going on without needing to ask What we need from you 2+ years in an account management or client-facing role at a digital marketing or performance agency (Meta ads / paid social experience strongly preferred) Excellent spoken and written English — you'll be on calls with founders and executives Working knowledge of paid media concepts (CPA, ROAS, funnels, attribution) so you can hold a real conversation about performance without needing translation Highly organised — comfortable juggling multiple clients, deliverables, and deadlines without dropping balls Available for meaningful overlap with UK business hours (GMT/BST) Familiarity with tools like GoHighLevel, Slack, ClickUp/Asana/Notion, and Google Workspace Nice to have Experience with info-product, coaching, or education-style clients (high-ticket webinar/VSL funnels) Familiarity with tracking stacks (Meta CAPI, Hyros, GA4) — enough to discuss issues intelligently, not to fix them yourself Logistics Long-term, ongoing role (not a one-off project) Start with ~20 hours/week with a clear path to full-time as the portfolio grows Remote How to apply Start your application with the word "Walnut" so I know you've read the post. Tell me: The agency you've account-managed at and the type of clients/spend levels you handled The largest single client relationship you've owned, and what made it work (or what made it break) Your available hours in GMT No generic cover letters — I read every application personally and skip the AI-generated ones.
