Accounting Firm Controller (Part-Time)

Silver Peaks Accounting is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage the firm's internal accounting and monthly close process. This is not client work. You will maintain the books and financial reporting for our accounting firm. Estimated Hours: 5–10 hours per month, ongoing. Responsibilities: Monthly bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Review payroll entries Complete monthly close Prepare monthly financial statements Prepare budget-to-actual reporting Track key performance indicators Identify unusual variances and trends Preferred Experience: Accounting firm experience Professional services firm experience QuickBooks Online expertise Month-end close ownership Management reporting Compensation: Fixed monthly retainer preferred.
