# German-Speaking Accounting & Operations Specialist (Real Estate) | Lexoffice | Remote | Long-Term ## About us We are a technology-driven real estate company operating in Germany and Portugal. Our focus is on property management, asset management, short- and mid-term rentals, acquisitions and real estate development. We work with modern digital processes, flat hierarchies and an ambitious international team. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented and German-speaking Accounting & Operations Specialist who enjoys creating structure, improving processes and taking ownership. This is a long-term position with significant growth potential. --- ## Your initial responsibilities ### Package 1 – Accounts Receivable & Cashflow Management Your primary responsibility will be managing our receivables and ensuring complete financial transparency. Tasks include: * Tracking all incoming rent payments * Monitoring outstanding receivables * Preparing reminders (Mahnwesen) * Following up overdue payments * Reconciling bank transactions * Performing accounting checks in our accounting software * Supporting monthly cashflow reports on property level * Maintaining accurate payment status across all properties --- ### Package 2 – Accounting & Reconciliation Besides monitoring revenues, you will also take ownership of expense documentation and bookkeeping preparation. Responsibilities include: * Matching invoices with payments * Organizing accounting documents * Reconciling transactions in Lexoffice (and potentially QuickBooks) * Categorizing expenses * Preparing bookkeeping for tax advisors * Reviewing completeness and accuracy of accounting records * Supporting monthly financial reporting --- ## Future Growth Opportunities Additional responsibilities may include: * Payroll preparation * VAT pre-filings (Umsatzsteuervoranmeldung) * Property Management support * Asset Management * Project coordination * Process optimization * Marketing and administrative support * SOP documentation and implementation This role can evolve into a Finance & Operations Management position. --- ## Requirements We are looking for someone who: * Speaks German fluently (mandatory) * Has experience in accounting or bookkeeping * Has strong administrative and back-office experience * Is highly organized and detail-oriented * Works independently and proactively * Is comfortable with digital tools * Has excellent communication skills * Enjoys improving processes Experience with any of the following is a plus: * Lexoffice * QuickBooks * DATEV * Property Management * Real Estate Accounting * Cashflow Reporting * Google Workspace * Excel * Notion * ClickUp * Slack --- ## What we offer * Long-term collaboration * Flexible remote work * Flat hierarchies * Modern tech stack * Performance-based compensation * High level of responsibility * Direct collaboration with founders * Opportunity to build and improve operational processes * Career growth within an expanding international real estate company --- ## To apply Please include: 1.
