Accounting & Tax Services Associate (Bookkeeping, Payroll & Tax Prep) — Project-Based Job Type: Freelance / Project-Based Contract Rate: Open — submit your asking rate Description We're a company providing tax preparation, bookkeeping, and payroll services, and we're looking for an experienced freelancer to take on project-based work across all three areas. You'll handle day-to-day bookkeeping, process payroll, and prepare accurate, compliant tax filings for our clients. This role is a great fit for someone who's comfortable working independently across the full accounting cycle and can manage multiple client engagements on a project basis. What you'll do: ● Record transactions, maintain general ledgers, and reconcile accounts (Bookkeeping) ● Prepare financial statements for client review (Bookkeeping) ● Process payroll, manage withholdings, and handle payroll tax filings (Payroll) ● Prepare and review individual and/or business tax returns (Tax Preparation) ● Ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local tax regulations ● Support tax planning and identify deductions/credits for clients Required Skills ● Bookkeeping ● Payroll Processing ● Tax Preparation ● Accounting Software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) & Payroll Platforms (e.g., Gusto, ADP) How to Apply Please send us: 1.
