Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist - Restoration Company

Description: We’re a full-service restoration company based in California looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervision & Collections Specialist to help us collect payments from private clients efficiently and professionally. You must have proven experience in construction or restoration billing, understanding of AR aging reports, and knowledge of lien rights and processing in California. The goal is simple: get results and bring the money in quickly while maintaining professionalism with homeowners and adjusters.

• Review and manage our AR Aging reports (1–30, 31–60, 61–90+ days).
• Follow up with private clients through phone calls, emails, and written communication to ensure timely payment.
• Identify disputes or issues preventing collection and resolve them quickly.
• Prepare and file preliminary notices and mechanic’s liens when necessary (California preferred).
• Collaborate with our internal AR and legal teams to escalate problem accounts.
• Keep detailed notes and updates on each account (in our CRM or report).
• Provide weekly collection reports with actions taken and next steps.
