Adjunct Instructor for Workforce Development Training

We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Adjunct Instructor to lead workforce development training sessions. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in adult education and have a passion for empowering individuals with essential skills. Responsibilities include designing curriculum, delivering interactive training, and assessing learner progress. Qualifications Required • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Workforce Development, Adult Education, Social Work, Business, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred depending on discipline). • Minimum 3+ years of teaching, training, workforce development, or adult education experience. • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and instructional delivery. • Strong knowledge of workforce development models, career pathways, and adult learning principles. • Experience working with underserved populations including reentry populations, youth, immigrants, and public assistance recipients. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities. Preferred • Prior university, college, trade school, vocational training, or workforce development teaching experience. • Experience with grant-funded workforce development programs. • Familiarity with WIOA, DHSS, DOL, TANF, SNAP E&T, reentry, and community-based workforce initiatives. • Knowledge of GIS, SPSS, social work practices, or specialized trade instruction depending on discipline. • Bilingual abilities strongly preferred for diverse student engagement. • Industry certifications relevant to the teaching discipline are highly desirable. Examples include: • ASE Certification (Automotive) • HVAC Certification / EPA Certification • CDL Instructor Certification • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ • CNA / DSP / Healthcare Certifications • Cosmetology License • OSHA Certifications • NCCER Certifications • Teaching Certification or Adult Education Credentials
