Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop Expert Needed for 7" Vinyl Jacket & Record Label Print Production

Statement of Work (SOW) Project: Production Layout and Print Preparation – 7" Vinyl Retirement Album Notes: I am retiring 31 July, and want to do something a little different for my ceremony program. I am printing a vinyl record album; product viewed here: https://www.duplication.com/Printed-7-Inch-Vinyl-Jacket-CMYK-White-15pt-Board.html Objective Prepare the attached artwork for commercial print production using the manufacturer’s supplied templates for the 7.25-inch vinyl jacket and both 4-inch circular record labels. The artwork has already been designed and approved. This engagement is strictly for production layout, print preparation, and template adaptation—not creative redesign. Scope of Work The contractor shall: • Adapt the existing front cover, back cover, and both record labels to the supplied manufacturer templates. Initial artwork was generated with AI. • Ensure compliance with all bleed, trim, fold, spine, glue flap, and safe area requirements. • Produce press-ready artwork suitable for commercial CMYK printing. • Maintain the original artistic intent throughout the project. Required Delivery Timeline A first draft suitable for review is due within 12 hours of project award. Product must be done by Friday, 10 July @ 09:00 am. Artwork Preservation Do NOT make substantive changes to the artwork or text. The selected graphics, typography, wording, colors, and composition have been intentionally chosen and approved. Do not: • Rewrite or edit text • Substitute fonts • Replace graphics • Change colors • Redesign the composition • Introduce new artwork or effects Permitted Adjustments Minor production adjustments are expected where necessary, including: • Scaling and proportional resizing • Background extension into bleed • Cropping non-critical background imagery • Optical centering • Alignment refinements • Kerning and line-spacing adjustments • Repositioning elements to maintain safe margins • Reconstruction of background artwork beyond trim lines where necessary Jacket Requirements Front Cover • Fit artwork to the supplied jacket dieline. • Preserve the existing visual hierarchy and composition. • Ensure all critical elements remain inside the safe area. • Extend background artwork through the bleed. Back Cover • Preserve the existing alignment of the program timeline. • Maintain spacing between headings and program items. • Ensure footer elements remain inside the safe area. • Preserve the visual relationship between the lighthouse, set list, and supporting graphics. There should be: • No bleed issues • No trim risk • No crowded elements • No stretched artwork • No alignment problems • No clipped text • No production defects Design Intent Design intent is the highest priority. If a conflict exists between strict geometric centering and the original artistic composition, preserve the artistic composition while still meeting all commercial printing requirements for bleed, trim, and safety margins.
