Premium Athleisure Apparel Sourcing Specialist for Startup Performance Apparel Brand (Potential Long-Term Partnership) Project Overview One Percent Brand is a premium performance athleisure startup focused on creating high-quality apparel that blends athletic performance with everyday style. We’re looking for an experienced sourcing and manufacturing specialist who has an established network of premium apparel manufacturers and can help us identify the right long-term manufacturing partners. Our goal is to build relationships with startup-friendly factories that can support our initial product launch while having the capability to scale as the brand grows. This project is intended to identify the right partner, but for the right person, this has the potential to become an ongoing relationship supporting new product development, sourcing, factory management, and production as One Percent Brand expands. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone who: * Has extensive experience sourcing premium athleisure and performance apparel manufacturers. * Has an existing network of vetted factories, particularly in Vietnam, Indonesia, China, Taiwan, Thailand, or other leading apparel manufacturing regions. * Understands premium athletic brands such as Vuori, Rhoback, Lululemon, TravisMathew, Alo, Rhône, and similar quality standards. * Has experience working with startup brands—not just large established companies. * Can recommend manufacturers based on quality, capability, pricing, and scalability rather than simply searching online. Initial Scope of Work The initial engagement will include: * Identifying and recommending qualified manufacturers for premium athleisure apparel. * Matching factories to our product categories and quality expectations. * Providing introductions and facilitating communication. * Evaluating factory capabilities, certifications, MOQs, pricing structure, lead times, and scalability. * Assisting with RFQs and manufacturer comparisons. * Advising on factory selection and sourcing strategy. Products We Plan to Manufacture Current and future product categories include: * Premium performance t-shirts * Athletic polos * Hoodies * Quarter-zips * Joggers * Shorts * Performance hats * Performance socks * Towels and accessories Preferred Manufacturer Capabilities We’re interested in factories that offer: * Premium technical and performance fabrics * Cut-and-sew manufacturing * Moisture-wicking and stretch performance materials * Custom trims, labels, hang tags, and packaging * Embroidery, screen printing, silicone/PVC branding, and heat transfers * Private label manufacturing * Quality control systems * Startup-friendly minimum order quantities * Ability to scale production significantly as demand increases Deliverables Please describe: * Your experience sourcing premium apparel manufacturers. * Brands or product categories you’ve worked with. * Countries where you have established factory relationships. * Your sourcing process. * How you evaluate manufacturers. * Why you believe you’d be a good fit for One Percent Brand.
