Amazon Ecommerce Bookkeeper / Accountant, QuickBooks + A2X + Payroll + AP + Sales Tax

We are looking for a strong ecommerce bookkeeper / accountant for ongoing monthly work. Our business is about 95% Amazon, and we use QuickBooks Online and A2X. We also have a warehouse operation, vendor bills, purchase activity, payroll, sales tax support needs, and normal month-end accounting requirements. This is not a beginner role. We need someone who already understands Amazon ecommerce bookkeeping, A2X, QuickBooks, reconciliations, accounts payable, payroll-related bookkeeping support, and timely monthly close. What we need help with: -Maintain accurate books in QuickBooks Online -Review and reconcile A2X / Amazon postings -Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and key balance sheet accounts -Enter and manage vendor bills / accounts payable -Support payroll-related bookkeeping workflows -Help keep books current during the month -Deliver substantially closed books by the 10th calendar day of the following month -Provide preliminary profitability visibility earlier in the month -Maintain a calendar of recurring accounting, tax, and filing deadlines and make sure they are completed on time -Support sales tax / filing coordination -Help identify errors, missing items, and accounting issues before they become bigger problems Our current issue is speed and visibility. It is not acceptable for us to be deep into the following month without closed books or without a usable view of profitability. We are looking for someone who can bring strong ownership, accuracy, and speed. Required experience: -QuickBooks Online -A2X -Amazon ecommerce bookkeeping -monthly close -bank and credit card reconciliations -accounts payable / bill entry -payroll-related bookkeeping support -product-based business or inventory-aware bookkeeping Preferred: -Experience with Amazon-heavy businesses -Experience with warehouse or product-based operations -Experience supporting sales tax or multi-state filing coordination -Ability to improve processes, not just follow instructions We will prioritize candidates who are specific, responsive, and clearly experienced with Amazon, A2X, QuickBooks, and timely monthly close. This can begin with a paid test / evaluation phase and can become ongoing work if it is a fit.
