Amazon Growth Consultant – Performance-Based Scope of Work & KPIs Objective The primary objective of this role is to increase Amazon revenue, improve profitability, reduce advertising inefficiencies, strengthen organic rankings, and create sustainable long-term growth for the brand. The consultant will be expected to develop and execute a growth strategy and be measured against clearly defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Key Deliverables Revenue Growth Develop and execute strategies to increase overall Amazon sales. Identify opportunities to expand market share within existing categories. Recommend new product opportunities, bundles, and cross-selling initiatives. KPIs Minimum 20%–30% Year-over-Year Revenue Growth. Minimum 10%–15% Quarterly Revenue Growth. Increased Average Order Value (AOV). Increased units sold per month. Advertising Efficiency & TACoS Improvement Audit and optimize all Sponsored Product, Sponsored Brand, and Sponsored Display campaigns. Eliminate inefficient spending and improve profitability. Increase contribution from organic sales. KPIs Reduce TACoS (Total Advertising Cost of Sale) by 15%–25% within 6 months. Improve ROAS by 20% or greater. Reduce wasted ad spend. Improve keyword-level profitability. Increase percentage of sales generated organically. Conversion Rate Optimization Optimize listings, images, A+ Content, Brand Store, and customer journey. Improve product page performance and customer engagement. KPIs Increase Unit Session Percentage (Conversion Rate) by 10%–20%. Improve Buy Box ownership. Increase click-through rate (CTR). Reduce bounce rate and listing abandonment. Organic Ranking Growth Improve visibility for strategic keywords. Increase organic traffic and reduce dependence on paid advertising. KPIs Increase Top 10 keyword rankings for priority search terms. Achieve Page 1 rankings for agreed target keywords. Increase organic sales percentage. Improve keyword indexation and search visibility. Profitability Improvement Analyze product margins, shipping costs, FBA fees, and advertising spend. Identify opportunities to improve net profitability. KPIs Improve net profit margin by 5%–10%. Increase contribution margin. Improve inventory turnover. Reduce aged inventory and excess stock. New Product Launch Success Create launch strategies and ranking plans for new products. Develop promotional and advertising launch schedules. KPIs New products achieve Page 1 ranking within agreed launch period. Reach sales targets within first 90 days. Maintain target TACoS during launch period. Customer Experience & Brand Growth Monitor reviews and customer feedback. Recommend improvements to product offerings and customer experience. KPIs Increase average product rating. Reduce negative review frequency. Improve customer retention and repeat purchase rate. Strengthen overall brand presence within category. Reporting Requirements The consultant will provide: Initial Amazon Business Audit. 90-Day Growth Strategy. Monthly KPI Scorecard. Quarterly Strategic Review. Competitive Analysis Report. Action Plan with measurable objectives and deadlines. Compensation Structure (Recommended) Base Retainer Fixed monthly consulting fee. Performance Bonus Additional incentive tied to measurable results: Revenue Growth Bonus TACoS Reduction Bonus Conversion Rate Improvement Bonus Organic Ranking Achievement Bonus Profit Margin Improvement Bonus Example: bonus for achieving annual revenue target. Bonus for every 2% reduction in Tacos beyond agreed target. Bonus for achieving Top 10 ranking on agreed strategic keywords. Bonus for exceeding quarterly sales goals.
