We are a fast-growing premium snack brand looking for an experienced Amazon Marketplace Growth Specialist to help manage and grow our Amazon business. This is not a simple virtual assistant role. We're looking for someone who understands how to grow revenue through Amazon Seller Central by combining catalog management, SEO, conversion optimization, advertising, creative assets, testing, and analytics. Our catalog is intentionally small (2 parent ASINs with 6 total variants), allowing us to focus on continuous optimization rather than managing hundreds of listings. This is a long-term contractor opportunity (10-20 hours per week) with room to grow as we expand internationally and launch additional products. Scope of Work: You'll become an extension of our eCommerce team and take ownership of ongoing Amazon optimization projects while collaborating with leadership on growth initiatives. Catalog Management Create and launch new product listings (approximately 1-2 new listings per quarter) Maintain existing listings Parent/child variation management Flat file uploads Listing troubleshooting Category and browse node updates Inventory file management Seller Central issue resolution Compliance monitoring A+ Content updates Brand Story updates Amazon Storefront management Listing Optimization Continually improve every listing to maximize: Organic ranking Conversion rate Click-through rate Session growth Sales velocity Responsibilities include: Title optimization Bullet optimization Product descriptions Backend keywords Search term optimization Product attributes Competitive positioning Listing audits Brand Analytics reviews Amazon SEO Develop and maintain keyword strategy using tools including: Helium10 Data Dive Jungle Scout Amazon Brand Analytics Search Query Performance Responsibilities include: Keyword research Keyword mapping Ranking monitoring Competitor analysis Opportunity discovery Search trend monitoring Seasonal keyword planning Creative & Images You should be comfortable creating or updating Amazon creative assets. Responsibilities include: Main image optimization Infographic creation Lifestyle image creation Comparison charts A+ Content graphics Brand Story assets Storefront graphics Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Figma, or similar tools is preferred. Listing Testing & CRO We continuously test listings to improve conversion. Experience with the following is required: Amazon Manage Your Experiments Title testing Main image testing A/B image testing Brand Story testing Pricing experiments Coupon and promotion testing External traffic experiments Subscribe & Save optimization You'll be expected to recommend hypotheses, execute tests, analyze results, and implement winning variations. Amazon Advertising While this role is not solely focused on PPC, applicants should have practical experience managing Amazon Ads. Responsibilities may include: Sponsored Products Sponsored Brands Sponsored Display Search term optimization Budget recommendations Campaign structure recommendations Keyword harvesting Listing optimization based on advertising insights You should understand how changes to listings impact advertising performance and vice versa. Reviews & Customer Experience Develop compliant strategies to improve ratings and review velocity. Responsibilities include: Amazon Vine management "Request a Review" workflow Voice of Customer monitoring Review trend analysis Negative review reporting Product Q&A management Listing improvements based on customer feedback We only use Amazon Terms of Service-compliant methods. Reporting Provide weekly or bi-weekly reporting covering: Sales performance Organic keyword rankings Search visibility Conversion rate Sessions Unit Session Percentage Advertising performance Review velocity Rating changes Inventory observations Competitive landscape Testing results Recommended next actions We value actionable insights over simply reporting metrics. Required Experience 3+ years managing Amazon Seller Central accounts Demonstrated experience growing Amazon brands Strong understanding of Amazon SEO Experience with Amazon Brand Registry Experience with Amazon Brand Analytics Experience with Search Query Performance Experience with Amazon Manage Your Experiments Comfortable with flat files Strong written English Excellent communication skills Organized and proactive Able to own projects with minimal supervision Preferred Experience CPG or food & beverage brands Amazon DSP exposure Walmart Marketplace experience Shopify familiarity Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma International marketplace launches Amazon Posts, Brand Tailored Promotions, and Subscribe & Save optimization Tools We Use Experience with several of the following is preferred: Amazon Seller Central Helium10 Data Dive Jungle Scout Canva Adobe Photoshop Google Sheets Microsoft Excel ChatGPT or other AI tools for research and drafting Project management tools (ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, or similar) What Success Looks Like Within the first 90 days, we'd expect you to: Complete a comprehensive account audit Deliver an optimization roadmap for every listing Improve keyword indexing and organic rankings Execute multiple A/B tests Refresh creative assets Identify PPC opportunities Improve listing conversion rates Establish a consistent reporting cadence Become a trusted extension of our team How to Apply Please include the following in your proposal: Tell us about the Amazon brands you've managed and their approximate annual Amazon revenue. Describe one listing optimization project you're most proud of and the measurable results you achieved. Which Amazon tools do you use most frequently, and why? Share examples of Amazon images or A+ Content you've created. Tell us about a successful Amazon experiment you've run (pricing, images, titles, coupons, etc.) and what you learned. Record a 5–10 minute Loom video reviewing one of our current Amazon listings. Identify at least three opportunities for improvement and explain how you would prioritize them. We're looking for someone who enjoys continuous optimization, thinks like an owner, and is excited to help build a growing consumer brand for the long term.
