Amazon Vendor Central Shortage & Chargeback Recovery Expert

We're looking for an experienced Amazon Vendor Central (1P) consultant with deep expertise in shortage claims, invoice disputes, chargeback recovery, and Amazon FinOps processes. This is not a data-entry or operational role. We already have an experienced team managing disputes weekly. We're looking for someone who has successfully solved problems that other agencies and vendors could not. Our goal is to determine whether there are additional recovery strategies, escalation paths, or best practices beyond the standard Vendor Central dispute process. Background Our client discontinued Amazon Vendor Services (AVS), eliminating the escalation paths that previously allowed us to recover disputed shortage claims. Since then: We dispute every shortage claim through Vendor Central using signed Bills of Lading and supporting documentation. We submit re-disputes wherever Amazon allows. We work directly with the Vendor Manager, but have been unable to obtain meaningful escalation support. We've attempted outreach to former Amazon FinOps contacts and other known internal channels. We've consulted experienced Amazon practitioners and agencies, with the common feedback being that recovery options become very limited without AVS. While our current process recovers part of many claims, a meaningful balance often remains unpaid. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who can review our current process and answer questions such as: Are there escalation paths beyond the standard Vendor Central dispute workflow? Have you successfully recovered shortage claims without AVS? Are there Amazon teams, departments, or programs we should be engaging? Are there alternative documentation strategies that improve recovery rates? Have you worked with Amazon FinOps, Accounts Payable, Retail Support, Executive Seller Relations, or similar groups to resolve these issues? Are there third-party tools or services that provide capabilities beyond automation? Have you developed repeatable processes that consistently improve recovery rates? If your recommendation is that we've already exhausted all realistic options, that's valuable feedback as well. We're looking for an independent expert assessment, not validation of a predetermined answer.
