Analytics Engineer Needed

Analytics Engineer Overview We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer who can bridge the gap between data engineering and business analytics. This role is focused on transforming raw data into clean, reliable, and well-modeled datasets that power reporting, dashboards, and decision-making. You’ll work closely with data engineers and business stakeholders to ensure data is structured, accessible, and trusted. What You’ll Do Build and maintain transformation layers on top of raw data (ELT workflows) Develop and manage data models for analytics and reporting (star schemas, marts) Write and optimize SQL transformations for large datasets Ensure data quality, testing, and documentation Collaborate with BI teams to deliver analytics-ready datasets Support and improve reporting and dashboard performance Work with modern data stacks (cloud warehouse + transformation tools) Translate business requirements into scalable data models Required Skills Strong experience with SQL (advanced level) Experience with dbt or similar transformation tools Hands-on experience with data modeling (warehouse + marts) Experience working with cloud data warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, or Synapse) Understanding of ELT workflows and data pipelines Experience supporting BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) Nice to Have Experience with Python for data transformation Familiarity with Airflow or orchestration tools Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure data platforms Exposure to data governance, testing frameworks, or documentation tools Experience working in Data Mesh or modern data platform environments What Success Looks Like Clean, scalable, and well-documented data models Reliable datasets that business teams actually trust Faster, more consistent reporting across teams Reduced dependency on ad-hoc data requests Seniority Level Mid to Senior (3–6+ years)
