Animated Website Designer & Developer — Full Build
Worldwide
About The 30% Rule The 30% Rule is a fast-growing hospitality consulting and training company founded by Preston Lee. We've worked with 400+ restaurants worldwide and have grown our Instagram to 360,000 organic followers in two years — with zero paid strategy. Our brand is bold, direct, and built around one mission: helping restaurant leaders build culture, develop people, and create systems that actually work. We're not a typical consulting company. Our brand needs to feel like it. The Role We need a full website build from the ground up. Not a template. Not a theme. A custom, high-performance animated website that commands attention, communicates authority, and converts visitors into clients. We want motion design, cinematic scroll animations, interactive elements, and a site that feels like it belongs in the same conversation as the best brands in the world. The 30% Rule is a premium brand. The website needs to look like one. What You'll Build - Full custom website design and development (all pages) - Scroll-triggered animations and transitions throughout - Motion graphics and micro-interactions - Video background integration - Interactive elements that drive engagement - Responsive design — flawless on mobile, tablet, and desktop - Fast load times despite heavy animation (performance matters) - Clean, on-brand typography and color system - Integration with existing tools (email capture, booking, etc.) What We're Looking For You've built animated websites before and have a portfolio that proves it. Not Squarespace with some parallax. Real motion design. GSAP, Framer, Webflow, or custom code — we don't care what tools you use as long as the output is elite. You understand brand. You can take a direction and push it further without being asked. You don't need to be micromanaged — you need a brief and room to build. Requirements - Portfolio of animated websites with live links (required — no portfolio, no consideration) - Proficiency in animation tools: GSAP, CSS animations, Framer, Webflow, or equivalent - Strong UI/UX fundamentals — beauty without usability is worthless - Front-end development capability (HTML, CSS, JavaScript minimum) - Experience with video and scroll-based storytelling - Fast communication and clear milestone delivery To Apply Send your portfolio, two or three examples of animated sites you've built, and a brief overview of your process and timeline estimate. Please note: auto-applications will not be considered. We are looking for someone who has actually reviewed our brand and can speak to what they'd bring to this specific project. If you're the right person, your portfolio will say it before you do.
