About Unit 77 Unit 77 is an AI automation company that helps small businesses build custom "Digital Employees" — AI-powered systems that handle lead qualification, scheduling, customer support, and workflow automation. We work with real estate companies, home builders, auto shops, and other small-to-mid-sized businesses to help them save time and grow revenue through AI. We're looking for a sharp, articulate, and highly professional Appointment Setter to join our team and help us connect with business owners who need our services. The Role This is not a generic data-entry or admin VA role. This is a client-facing outreach position. You will be the first voice and first impression business owners get of Unit 77. Your job is to open doors, qualify interest, and get decision-makers on the calendar with our founders. Key Responsibilities 1. Outbound Cold Calling & Outreach Make outbound calls to small business owners (target industries will be provided: real estate, home services, retail, automotive, and similar) Introduce Unit 77 and our AI Digital Employee solutions in a clear, confident, and natural way Handle basic objections and answer surface-level questions about what we do 2. Lead Qualification Use our provided lead qualification sheet (accessed via our dashboard) to ask structured discovery questions: what the business does, what pain points they have, what their current lead/customer management process looks like, and whether they're a good fit Accurately log every conversation, response, and qualification detail into our system 3. Appointment Setting Book qualified leads directly onto the calendars of our two founders for a discovery call Confirm appointments 24 hours in advance to reduce no-shows Reschedule and follow up professionally when needed 4. Follow-Up & Proposal Coordination After a founder has a discovery call with a lead, follow up with that lead to check in, answer questions, and keep the relationship warm Send proposal documents and materials provided by the founders to leads via email Track where each lead is in the pipeline (contacted → qualified → appointment set → proposal sent → follow-up) Requirements English Proficiency — Non-Negotiable You must speak fluent, clear, native-or-near-native level English with minimal accent interference Business owners need to feel like they are speaking with a polished, professional representative of a US-based company from the first sentence This role is open to candidates from any country — Philippines, Latin America, or elsewhere — but English fluency is the single most important requirement and will be tested before any interview is scheduled Experience Prior experience in cold calling, telemarketing, appointment setting, or sales development strongly preferred Comfortable handling objections and speaking confidently with business owners and decision-makers Experience with CRM tools, lead tracking spreadsheets, or dashboard systems is a plus Soft Skills Strong active listening skills — able to pick up on what a business owner actually needs, not just read a script Highly organized and detail-oriented — accurate data logging is critical Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable and consistent — this role requires daily outreach activity Technical Reliable high-speed internet connection Quiet, professional calling environment (no background noise) Comfortable using dialers, Google Sheets/CRM dashboards, and email What We Provide Full training on our services, pricing tiers, and messaging A pre-built lead qualification script and discovery question framework Access to our internal dashboard for lead tracking and appointment scheduling A steady stream of leads/lists to call (you will not be responsible for sourcing your own leads) Direct communication with the founders for support and feedback Compensation Structure Base pay: $800–$1,200/month USD depending on experience (part-time and full-time options available) Performance bonus: Additional bonus per qualified appointment that converts into a signed client Opportunity for rate increase after a 30-day performance review How to Apply To apply, please submit the following: Your resume with relevant cold calling, telemarketing, or appointment setting experience A 30-60 second voice recording of you delivering a mock cold call opening pitch.
