# Arabic UI Localization Specialist (Trades Industry) – Immediate Start ## Project Overview We are seeking an experienced Arabic UI Localization Specialist to support the localization of technical training and e-learning content for the skilled trades industry. This is a fast-paced project with aggressive deadlines, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately and contribute with minimal onboarding. The ideal candidate has proven experience localizing user interfaces, technical content, and digital learning materials into Arabic. Strong contextual understanding is essential, as much of the content is simulation-based and focused on real-world trade applications. Experience with right-to-left (RTL) languages and Arabic UI best practices is required. ## Key Responsibilities * Localize English-language user interface (UI) content into Arabic while maintaining usability, clarity, and technical accuracy. * Translate and adapt technical training materials, presentations, subtitles, on-screen text, and supporting documentation. * Review and edit localized content to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to terminology standards. * Validate UI layouts and functionality to ensure proper display in Arabic, including RTL formatting and text expansion considerations. * Localize images, graphics, and visual assets, including replacing and formatting translated text within images. * Collaborate with project managers, instructional designers, and other localization team members to meet tight project deadlines. * Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure content is culturally appropriate, technically accurate, and user-friendly for Arabic-speaking audiences. ## Required Qualifications * Native-level Arabic proficiency with excellent written communication skills. * Demonstrated experience localizing software interfaces, web applications, e-learning platforms, or digital products. * Strong understanding of Arabic UI/UX localization standards, including right-to-left (RTL) formatting requirements. * Experience localizing technical, instructional, or e-learning content. * Familiarity with terminology related to the skilled trades industry, including: * Electrical * HVAC * Plumbing * Facilities Maintenance * Construction * Experience working with Google Workspace tools, including: * Google Slides * Google Drive * Shared folder management and organization * Ability to maintain formatting and layouts during localization. * Experience localizing images and visual assets. * Basic video editing experience, including updating localized on-screen text, captions, and subtitles. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively with context-heavy content. ## Project Requirements * Must be available to start immediately. * Must be comfortable working under tight deadlines and managing a high-volume workload. * Must be responsive and able to communicate effectively throughout the project. * Must have prior experience with Arabic UI localization and RTL language implementation. * Previous experience in the trades industry or technical training environments is strongly preferred. ## What We're Looking For We are looking for a localization professional who understands both Arabic UI localization and technical trades content.
