Remote | Long-Term Role | Immediate Start We are looking for a reliable, honest and positive Assistant Operations Manager to join SportsFixtures.net in a long-term remote role. This is a hands-on leadership position. You will not manage from the sidelines. You will lead by example across customer support, sales follow-up, renewals, marketing activity and daily operations. The right person will be calm under pressure, highly organised, proactive, and able to help keep the team focused, positive and accountable. Role Details Pay: $3/hour Expected monthly pay: Approximately $520/month Hours: 40 hours per week Schedule: 5 days per week Availability window: 15:00–03:00 ICT Weekend availability: Required Start: Immediate start available Training: Full training, mentoring and written playbooks provided Main Responsibilities You will help lead the daily operations of the business, including: Customer support and customer follow-ups Sales follow-up, renewals, winbacks and referrals HubSpot, WhatsApp, email and CRM activity Daily SOD, check-ins and EOD reporting Supporting a target customer response time of under 1 minute while on shift Helping organise rota cover so support is not left exposed Following and enforcing company playbooks and SOPs Motivating team members and helping build a positive working culture Managing small operational projects and ensuring tasks are completed properly Helping train and improve the team as the company grows Communicating honestly and early when problems arise Suggesting improvements to sales, support, marketing and customer experience Required Skills and Experience The ideal candidate should have: Strong written English Proven customer support experience Strong team management or supervisory ability Project management or operations experience Sales, retention, CRM or follow-up experience A positive, confident and professional communication style Strong organisation and attention to detail The ability to work to targets and response-time standards The ability to motivate others without negativity or drama The ability to follow written processes and playbooks The confidence to give clear reports and honest updates A stable career history preferred Weekend availability Strong internet connection Backup internet connection Reliable computer or laptop Quiet remote working environment Advantageous Experience 35 + WPM typing English business level The following would be helpful but are not essential: Developer or technical background WordPress experience HubSpot experience Previous team lead, supervisor or assistant manager experience Customer retention, renewal or winback experience Experience working with remote teams Important Expectations This is a live customer support, sales and operations role. Reliability is essential. We are open to strong freelancers, but this is not a casual side job. The role requires consistent availability, clear communication and proper commitment during working hours. Customer support has a target response time of under 1 minute while on shift, so you must have strong internet, backup internet, reliable equipment and a suitable working environment. We provide training, mentoring and clear playbooks. In return, we expect honesty, consistency, positive communication, and a genuine willingness to help the company grow.
