AI-Assisted Translation and formatting of Product Manual into 5 languages (NL, DE, FR, IT, FI)

Translation should be AI-assisted (DeepL, ChatGPT or similar) but reviewed and corrected by you. Accuracy is essential for this job. We need a ~7500-word English product manual (.docx file, 67 "pages", includes images, tables, and headings) translated into Dutch, German, French, Italian, and Finnish, with the translated text formatted to exactly match the existing English document layout. You’re welcome to apply for all languages, or just those you are confident in. Process: You'll start with one language as a paid test task. If the result is satisfactory, you'll continue with the remaining language(s) you applied for. Deadline: The paid test task must be completed by Thursday, June 25th, regardless of how many languages you're applying for. If you're completing only one language, the full job should also be done by June 25th. If you're completing multiple languages, the test task is still due June 25th, but the remaining languages have until Wednesday, July 1st. Pay: Budget is approximately $200 per language (translation & formatting), including the paid test task. The total budget is $1,000 for all five languages. This job has two parts: 1. Translation: Produce an accurate and natural sounding translation using an AI tool of your choice. The output must be verified and corrected. The subject of this document is an assistive device user manual, so the terminology must be consistent throughout. 2. Formatting: The translated text must then be formatted to match the existing English document (headings, body text, steps, tables, image labels, etc). The final deliverables should be near-exact versions of the respective languages.
