Astro.js Website Developer for Ongoing Maintenance & Support

Website Support Freelance / hourly, as-needed — replacing our outgoing webmaster, who is starting college. Overview coordinators.pro is live and built on Astro. This isn't a build project — the site is done. We need someone available on an hourly, as-needed basis to handle things as they come up. No changes are needed right now. - Responsibilities (as needed, not on a schedule) Make copy, page, or image updates as the business changes. Fix the Zapier-webhook-driven booking/contact forms if they break. Maintain GA4/GTM tracking and conversion events. Fix SEO issues if they turn up: meta, schema, canonicals, sitemap, broken links. Address a Lighthouse/Core Web Vitals regression if a change causes one. Patch Astro/npm/CMS dependencies if a vulnerability surfaces. Troubleshoot hosting (AWS) if something goes down. - Requirements Astro, JS/TS, HTML/CSS — comfortable maintaining an existing codebase, not building from scratch. GA4/GTM and Core Web Vitals/Lighthouse familiarity. On-page SEO and accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA). Zapier/webhook experience. AWS familiarity — Lightsail, CloudFront, Nginx. - Engagement Terms Hourly, billed for time worked — no retainer, no monthly minimum. Expect infrequent, ad hoc requests. A larger project, if one comes up, would be scoped and quoted separately rather than billed hourly. Hosting Lightsail preferred for any SSR endpoints; static content served via Nginx or pushed to CloudFront.
