We're looking for an Athlete Partnerships & Marketing Manager to join our team and lead athlete marketing execution for one of our largest clients. This role will work directly with elite athletes, coaches, managers, and the clients leadership to build one of the strongest athlete marketing programs in professional sports. Position Summary The Athlete Partnerships & Marketing Manager owns the execution of the clients' athlete growth strategy. This person is responsible for building athlete relationships, coordinating campaigns, executing product launches, managing athlete operations, and ensuring every athlete partnership generates measurable commercial value. This is not a traditional influencer marketing role. It is a business role focused on using world-class athletes to accelerate revenue, brand growth, and product adoption. Primary Responsibilities -Athlete Recruitment & Partnerships -Identify, recruit, and onboard new athlete partners. -Manage athlete contracts, renewals, and partnership documentation. -Build long-term relationships with athletes, coaches, managers, and agents. -Develop and maintain a healthy athlete pipeline aligned -Athlete Marketing & Campaign Execution -Build quarterly activation plans for every priority athlete. -Coordinate athlete campaigns, launches, appearances, events, and content production. -Work cross-functionally with Growth, Creative, Product, Social, and Operations teams. -Ensure all contractual deliverables are completed on time. -Commercial Performance -Track athlete-generated revenue. -Manage affiliate links, promo codes, and attribution. -Monitor athlete investment and return on investment. -Recommend where to increase or reduce investment based on performance. Operations & Reporting Maintain weekly dashboards for: -Active Athletes -Athlete Utilization -Athlete Audience -Athlete Activations -Athlete Investment -Athlete-Driven Revenue -Athlete ROI -Prepare executive reporting and recommendations for ONX leadership. Success Metrics This role owns the following KPIs: Active Athletes Athlete Utilization (%) Total Athlete Audience Active Athlete Activations Athlete-Driven Revenue Athlete Investment Athlete Program ROI Qualifications -4+ years in sports marketing, athlete partnerships, talent management, brand partnerships, or influencer marketing. -Experience working directly with professional athletes, agents, or sports organizations. -Exceptional project management and organizational skills. -Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect marketing efforts to revenue. -Comfortable working across multiple teams and managing many moving pieces simultaneously. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Experience UFC, combat sports, or professional sports experience. Shopify Affiliate marketing CRM platforms Content production and campaign management experience. What Success Looks Like Within 12 months, you will have: -Built a world-class athlete marketing program. -Developed a structured athlete partnership pipeline. -Established quarterly activation plans for every priority athlete. -Increased athlete-driven revenue through measurable campaigns. -Created executive dashboards that clearly demonstrate athlete ROI. -Helped transform athlete marketing into one of ONX Sports' primary growth engines.
