Automated Daily & Weekly Website Analytics Report via Slack
Worldwide
PROJECT OVERVIEW: Build an automated workflow that pulls daily website data from GA4 and monitors behavior of daily recorded sessions from Microsoft Clarity. Send this information to an AI model to interpret the data, and deliver a causal (plain-english) daily report to a dedicated Slack channel every morning and a weekly recap every Monday morning. Daily Report: In an easily digestible and conversational/casual tone, deliver a daily report (sent to a dedicated Slack channel) that provides an our e-commerce team with a comprehensive report on our website traffic over the past 24 hours. Including what product pages were the most popular, analyze customer behavior and provide a summary of why sessions did not convert, analyze what products had the most page views, and describe opportunities to increase conversions/revenue. EXACT DELIVERABLES: 1. Daily Slack Report (every morning at 9am CST) Pull the previous day’s data from GA4 and Clarity and send a Claude-generated report to Slack that answers: • What products did visitors look at most? • What were people searching for on the site? • Where did people drop off and why? • What likely prevented conversions (out of stock, pricing, UX issues, etc.) A more thorough but still conversational recap of the previous 7 days. Should read like a weekly debrief with your eCommerce lead — honest, direct, and focused on what actually matters. Key things it should cover: • How was our traffic this week and was it quality traffic? • What products are people most interested in? • What are people looking for that we don’t have or is out of stock? • Where are we losing people and why? • What friction points are hurting conversions (size chart confusion, pricing, shipping cost, UX issues, etc.)? • What trends are worth paying attention to? • What opportunities are we missing? • What are 3-5 specific things we should do or fix this week? 3. Prompt Engineering Write and test the Claude prompt that generates the report in a clean, actionable format written like a morning briefing. Not heavy on the metrics and technical numbers, but more emphasis on what our ecomerce and marketing team can do to improve this week. 4. Documentation Provide simple instructions for how to adjust the prompt or add new data sources in the future. SKILLS REQUIRED • Make.com automation (required) • GA4 API (required) • Anthropic or OpenAI API (required) • Slack API/webhooks (required) • Clarity API or data export (required)
