Automation Engineer (Airtable + Make.com) — ongoing operations platform build

I run an industrial container and freight business and I'm building an internal operations platform. Looking for an automation engineer / no-code developer to build the core and stay on for ongoing work — a phased, long-term build, not a one-off gig. WHAT YOU'LL BUILD (Phase 1): • A deal-sourcing + email outreach system on Airtable + Make.com (data model, scenarios, dedupe, scored pipeline) • An AI/LLM API step for classifying and drafting replies (I provide the prompts) • Role-based portals (vendor / driver / customer) via a portal-builder layer (Softr / Noloco / Stacker) on Airtable • API integrations: DAT load board, Bouncie GPS, Facebook Commerce Manager catalog (for listing OUR products) • Inventory automation — par levels, replenishment triggers, available-to-promise logic LATER PHASES (scope visibility): expanded portals, a logistics/routing layer, scale-out. REQUIRED SKILLS: Airtable (data model + Interfaces), Make.com (Integromat), REST API integration, a portal-builder (Softr / Noloco / Stacker or similar), comfort with JSON + webhooks. AI/LLM API experience a plus. HOW TO APPLY: share relevant examples (Airtable + Make + portal + API work), your rough rate, availability, and whether you prefer hourly or milestone. NOTE: the web scraping is a SEPARATE role/hire — this role is the Airtable / Make / portal / integration backbone. You do not need to be a scraping expert to be a great fit here.
