B2B Lead Generation Specialist for Digital Marketing Agencies & Freelancers - Local SEO SaaS
Worldwide
About Localnord Localnord is a SaaS platform that helps agencies, freelancers, and businesses manage and optimize Google business profiles. Our solution is designed for professionals who manage the online visibility and local SEO of business clients. Localnord helps them manage Google Business Profiles more efficiently, improve their optimization process and handle multiple client profiles through one solution. We are currently expanding our international acquisition strategy and are looking for an experienced and proactive B2B Lead Generation & Appointment Setting Specialist. The main objective of this role Your primary objective will be to identify relevant agencies and freelancers, contact them and book qualified first meetings for our closers. The purpose of the first meeting is very specific: The closer presents Localnord to the agency or freelancer. The prospect is invited to test Localnord free of charge for one week. The test begins with one Google Business Profile. At the end of the trial period, the closer schedules a follow-up call. During this second call, the closer reviews the trial and proposes a subscription based on the number of Google Business Profiles the agency could manage. Your role is therefore essential to the entire acquisition process. You are not simply expected to generate contacts. You must identify relevant agencies, reach the right person, qualify their potential and book meetings that can lead to a genuine Localnord trial. Who we are looking for We are looking for someone who can identify and contact: communication agencies; digital marketing agencies; web agencies; SEO agencies; local SEO agencies; social media agencies; marketing consultants; freelance marketers; freelance SEO specialists; freelance web consultants; other professionals managing Google Business Profiles for business clients. The target is international. We are interested in small, medium-sized and larger agencies. A small agency may still be highly relevant if it manages a meaningful number of client profiles or has strong growth potential. Medium-sized and larger agencies are also important because they may have several team members and a larger client portfolio, which can lead to the management of a higher number of Google Business Profiles. The value of an opportunity will depend not only on the size of the agency, but also on: the number of clients it manages; the number of Google Business Profiles it currently handles; the number of people involved in client account management; its growth potential; its current workflow and tools; its interest in testing a new solution. Your responsibilities Prospecting and lead generation Research and identify communication, digital marketing, web, SEO and local SEO agencies in international markets. Identify freelancers who manage digital visibility or Google Business Profiles for business clients. Build targeted lists of relevant agencies and freelancers. Identify the correct decision-maker, such as the agency owner, founder, head of SEO, account manager or person responsible for client services. Use multiple acquisition channels to reach prospects, including: direct cold calling; email outreach; LinkedIn; social media; online research; networking; other relevant channels. Be comfortable contacting agencies directly by phone and starting a professional business conversation. Adapt your message according to the agency’s size, activity, client portfolio and current services. Explain clearly that Localnord is a SaaS solution for managing and optimizing Google Business Profiles. Qualification You will be expected to identify whether a prospect is a good fit for a Localnord trial. Relevant qualification questions may include: Does the agency work with business clients? Does it manage Google Business Profiles or local SEO for those clients? How many client profiles does it currently manage? Who is responsible for managing those profiles? Does the agency have several employees or account managers who could use the platform? Is the agency currently using another tool or manual process? Could Localnord improve or simplify its workflow? Is the prospect open to testing Localnord on one profile for one week? Is the person contacted involved in the decision-making process? Appointment setting Book qualified first meetings between relevant prospects and the closer. Make sure the prospect understands the purpose of the meeting. Explain that the closer will present Localnord and may launch a free one-week trial on one Google Business Profile. Confirm that the prospect has a relevant business use case before booking the meeting. Provide the closer with useful information before the call, including: the agency’s activity; the type of clients it manages; the estimated number of Google Business Profiles; the prospect’s current process; the main pain points identified; the reason for their interest; any relevant information from the conversation. Follow up when necessary to reduce no-shows and maintain momentum after the first contact. The sales process you will support You will be responsible for the first part of the process: Step 1 — Prospect identification Find relevant agencies and freelancers who manage Google Business Profiles for clients. Step 2 — Outreach Contact them by phone, email, LinkedIn or other relevant channels. Step 3 — Qualification Understand their activity, client portfolio, current process and potential use case for Localnord. Step 4 — Qualified first meeting Book a meeting with the closer. Step 5 — Free trial During the first meeting, the closer presents Localnord and launches a free one-week trial on one Google Business Profile. Step 6 — Follow-up call At the end of the trial, the closer schedules a second call to review the experience and discuss the appropriate number of profiles for a potential subscription. You will not be responsible for conducting the closing call. However, the quality of the first meeting and the prospect’s ability to start a relevant trial will be key indicators of the quality of your work. What we are looking for The ideal candidate: Has proven experience in B2B prospecting, lead generation or appointment setting. Is genuinely comfortable with cold calling. Can call agency owners and professionals directly without hesitation. Knows how to start and maintain a professional conversation by phone. Understands how communication, digital marketing, web and SEO agencies operate. Can identify agencies with real potential, regardless of whether they are small, medium-sized or large. Knows how to evaluate an opportunity based on the potential number of client profiles. Can qualify prospects rather than simply collecting contact details. Can turn a relevant conversation into a qualified first meeting. Understands that the goal of the meeting is to start a Localnord trial. Can communicate clearly and professionally in English. Is comfortable working with international prospects and different markets. Is organized and able to track contacts, follow-ups, meetings and qualification information. Is proactive, consistent and able to work independently. Can provide structured information to the closer. Experience with the following is a strong advantage Cold calling for B2B services or SaaS companies. Appointment setting for agencies or software companies. Digital marketing or communication agencies. SEO or local SEO. Google Business Profiles. Google Maps visibility. Agency tools and client management platforms. Selling or promoting SaaS solutions. Outbound email or LinkedIn prospecting. What success looks like Success in this role is not measured only by the number of messages or calls made. A successful candidate will: consistently identify relevant agencies and freelancers; reach the right decision-makers; generate genuine interest in Localnord; book qualified first meetings for the closer; help the closer launch relevant one-week trials; provide accurate context before each meeting; identify agencies with the potential to manage multiple Google Business Profiles; improve the quality of the sales pipeline over time. We value qualified opportunities over random outreach volume. What this role does not include You will not be responsible for: conducting the final closing call; negotiating the final subscription; deciding the final number of profiles sold; providing technical support; contacting random businesses without qualification. You will, however, be responsible for prospecting, initial contact, qualification, follow-up and booking qualified meetings for the closer. Working relationship This is an international freelance opportunity managed through Upwork. The collaboration will begin with an onboarding process covering: Localnord and its main use cases; the management and optimization of Google Business Profiles; the agencies and freelancers we are targeting; our positioning and value proposition; the qualification criteria; the outreach process; the appointment-setting process; the information to provide to the closer. The exact workflow, communication channels, activity expectations and payment structure will be discussed with shortlisted candidates through the Upwork process. How to apply Please include the following in your application: A short introduction about your experience in B2B lead generation, cold calling or appointment setting. Examples of agencies, freelancers or businesses you have previously contacted. Your experience contacting agency owners or decision-makers by phone. The acquisition channels you are most comfortable using. Your approach to identifying and qualifying a relevant agency. The questions you would ask to estimate how many Google Business Profiles an agency manages. An example of a cold-call opening for a communication or digital marketing agency. An example of a written outreach message. Your availability and the international markets or languages you are comfortable working with. Any relevant results you can share, such as qualified meetings booked, conversion rates or lead-generation results. Please do not send a generic application. We are particularly interested in candidates who understand agencies, freelancers, local SEO, Google Business Profiles or SaaS products, and who are genuinely comfortable with direct phone prospecting.
