B2B Lead Researcher — Australian Financial Advice Firms and Decision-Makers

We are looking for an experienced B2B lead researcher to build a highly targeted list of Australian financial advice firms and relevant senior decision-makers. This is not a bulk scraping project. We need accurate, manually researched accounts that fit a defined ideal client profile. Initial project Research 150 Australian financial advice firms, with up to three relevant decision-makers per firm. The list should be delivered in batches: First test batch: 25 firms Remaining delivery: batches of 25 Do not complete all 150 until the first batch has been reviewed and approved Firms to include Include: Independent financial advice firms AFSL holders Licensees and dealer groups Multi-office advice practices Large institutional advice groups National dealer networks Every firm must: Operate in Australia Have at least two financial advisers Have a meaningful pre-retirement or retirement advice offering Show evidence of a scalable advice model Be likely to generate approximately $1 million or more in annual revenue Have potential capacity to support additional client appointments Revenue and appointment capacity may be estimated using public evidence, but must be marked as estimated rather than presented as verified fact. Minimum qualification standard Every firm must have: Two or more advisers plus at least three additional qualification signals. Qualification signals include: Dedicated retirement or pre-retirement service page Multiple offices or locations AFSL holder or established licensee Structured client advice process Active hiring for advisers, client service or paraplanning staff Recent growth, acquisition or expansion Strong and current website Clear target-client proposition Active company LinkedIn presence Dedicated growth, marketing or business-development function Evidence of an established operating team Evidence that the business serves clients aged approximately 50–70 The freelancer must record which signals were found. Examples: “The firm has a dedicated retirement-planning division across three offices.” “The company is currently hiring financial advisers.” “The managing director recently discussed organic growth and adviser capacity.” “The website positions pre-retirees as a core client segment.” This note should give Ash a genuine reason to contact the firm and should not be generic AI-generated filler.
