**Title:** BarTender Automation Integration Specialist Needed – Connect Katana MRP to Automated Label Printing Workflow **Description:** We are a medical device manufacturer looking for an experienced BarTender Automation specialist to help integrate BarTender with our Katana MRP manufacturing workflow. We currently use Katana for production management and need to create an automated labeling workflow that pulls manufacturing data into BarTender, populates approved label templates, and generates product-specific labels. This project requires someone with experience beyond basic label design. We need assistance with the automation architecture, data flow, and proper implementation. **Project Goals:** * Connect Katana manufacturing/order data with BarTender * Automatically populate BarTender label templates with variable data * Configure BarTender Integration Builder workflows * Create database/API connections as needed * Trigger label generation based on manufacturing events/status changes * Support product-specific and order-specific labeling requirements * Create a scalable system for future manufacturing growth **Required Experience:** * BarTender Automation or Enterprise Edition * BarTender Integration Builder * Database connections (SQL, ODBC, JSON, CSV, APIs) * ERP/MRP integrations * REST API experience * Manufacturing workflow automation * Windows-based BarTender deployment **Preferred Experience:** * Katana MRP integration experience * Medical device or regulated manufacturing * Serial number / lot number tracking * UDI or traceability labeling workflows * Zebra or industrial label printers **Current Environment:** * Katana MRP * BarTender Automation * Microsoft 365 environment * Cloud-based manufacturing workflow **Deliverables:** 1. Recommend proper integration architecture 2. Configure connection between Katana data and BarTender 3. Build automated label printing workflow 4. Map manufacturing fields to BarTender templates 5. Document the process for future maintenance We already have development support but need a BarTender expert who can assist with the correct implementation strategy and setup.
