Barcode system for our inventory tracking

Summary

I am looking for someone who can help set up a proper barcode system for our inventory monitoring. Here's how our current process works. Here is how I believe we should be doing it. I am open to suggestions and I would like you to both set up the digital system to handle the barcodes as well as a program to create the barcodes. We manufacture the product and the boxes in one location then we have it shipped to our warehouse, which we then proceed to either store in a container outdoors or in our warehouse directly. The products that are stored in the container at some point get brought into the warehouse. Then at some point they get opened. I believe the proper system is that each SKU should have its own barcode and each carton should probably have its own identifier as well. For example if the SKU name is HC2, all the HC2 outer cartons should have HC2 as a unique identifier. There should also be some sort of rule about how many units are in each one of these cartons. When we scan it, it automatically knows that it has a carton and the value of that carton is, for example, five units. I believe we don't need to put an individual barcode on each item but maybe we do. We'd love to hear your thoughts. We then would have location barcodes. For example when the items arrive at our warehouse, we scan the box as well as the location where it's going in. I'm wondering if instead of having to scan each box on each location each time, we can scan the location and then scan multiple boxes. Then for example once we are opening the boxes and essentially delivering these, we would scan it somewhere else as well to kind of confirm we are now completing the process and it is "being used". If you feel you can help us set up this full system, please do reach out. Please share a past project with as much detail as possible, maybe some pictures, etc., of a process like this you already created so I can confidently move forward with you.
