Bilingual English–Chinese Communication Liaison Needed
Worldwide
I am an American living and working in China. My business partners, staff, and team are Chinese, and I need a fluent English–Chinese communicator who can help me clearly explain my ideas, projects, challenges, and business direction in Chinese. This is not a basic translation role. I need someone who can understand context, technology, business ideas, creative direction, AI workflows, and cultural nuance — then communicate everything clearly so nothing gets lost between language, culture, and technical understanding. Role You will act as a bilingual communication liaison between me and my Chinese partners/team. Your job is to help take what I am trying to say in English and communicate it clearly, naturally, and accurately in Chinese. This may include explaining: * Business ideas * Creative direction * AI and technology workflows * Project goals * Operational problems * Communication issues * Strategy, process, and expectations * Frustrations, challenges, and things that are difficult to explain cross-culturally The goal is simple: help me communicate better so I can do my job more effectively in China. Requirements You must be: * Fluent in English and Chinese * Able to write and speak clearly in both languages * Comfortable using WeChat * Available for occasional video calls when needed * Able to understand business, creative, and technology-related conversations * Able to explain complex ideas in a simple, natural way * Culturally aware and able to bridge American and Chinese communication styles * Professional, reliable, and responsive Ideal Background The ideal person has experience or understanding in one or more of the following: * AI tools or automation * Technology/startups * Marketing or branding * Product development * Creative direction * Cross-cultural business communication * Translating business ideas, not just words Time Commitment This will likely start at around 3–5 hours per month, mostly through WeChat communication and occasional video calls. There may be more work later depending on scope, performance, and business needs. What I Need Most I need someone who can understand what I am really trying to communicate — not just translate words directly. There is a language barrier, a technology barrier, and a cultural barrier. I need someone who can help bridge all three. To Apply Please send: 1. A short introduction about yourself 2. Your English and Chinese fluency level 3. Any experience with AI, technology, business, or creative work 4. Your hourly rate 5. Your WeChat availability 6. A brief explanation of why you think you would be a good fit for this role
