Bilingual Immigration Paralegal

We are a growing US immigration law firm. Our practice is focused on removal defense and asylum, along with affirmative filings including family-based petitions, adjustment of status, VAWA, U visa, TPS, and naturalization. We serve a Spanish-speaking client base and are expanding our legal production team. We are looking for an experienced immigration paralegal to work directly with our attorneys and paralegal team on active cases. This is a long-term, ongoing role for someone who knows US immigration procedure, writes clean English and Spanish, and treats deadlines as non-negotiable. What you will do: - Prepare complete USCIS filing packages: I-589, I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, I-751, I-601A, N-400 - Draft client declarations, cover letters, and evidence indexes for attorney review - Support removal defense: assemble evidence packets and prepare exhibits and filings for immigration court (EOIR) - Track court hearings, RFE deadlines, biometrics appointments, and filing windows - Communicate with clients in Spanish and English to collect documents and evidence - Keep matters updated in Clio: documents, notes, tasks, and custom fields - Coordinate certified translations and country conditions research Requirements: - 2+ years of hands-on immigration paralegal experience at a US law firm - Full professional fluency in Spanish and English, written and spoken - Direct experience preparing USCIS forms and evidence from start to finish - Meticulous attention to detail and zero tolerance for missed deadlines - Available during Eastern Time business hours (minimum 9 am to 6 pm ET overlap) - Reliable computer and internet, and the ability to handle confidential client information Strongly preferred: - Removal defense and EOIR experience (master calendar and individual hearing preparation) - Asylum declaration drafting - Clio and Clio Draft experience (or Docketwise, INSZoom, or similar) - Prior remote work with a US immigration firm How we work: All legal work is performed under direct attorney supervision. You will sign a confidentiality agreement before accessing any client information. We start with a paid trial assignment (a defined filing package) before ramping to full weekly hours.
