Blockchain Tech Lead for Decentralized E-commerce and Native Token

About the Project We're building a decentralized e-commerce platform because we think online marketplaces can work a lot better than they do today. Sellers lose a significant portion of every sale to platform fees. Buyers have little visibility into how transactions are handled, and users who help grow a platform rarely share in the value they create. We're building a platform where blockchain solves those problems instead of creating new ones. The platform allows buyers and sellers to transact directly, with smart contracts handling payments and settlement. A native token sits at the center of the ecosystem and is used for payments, rewards, staking, and community governance. Every part of the token is designed around actual platform activity. We're currently in the PoC stage. The product direction is clear, but many of the technical decisions are still open. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys building things properly from the beginning. The Role We're looking for a Blockchain Tech Lead who enjoys writing code as much as making technical decisions. You'll be leading the blockchain side of the project while staying hands-on throughout development. You'll work closely with frontend and backend engineers to make sure the entire system fits together cleanly. Some of the things you'll be responsible for include: - Designing smart contracts and the overall blockchain architecture - Leading development of the native token and its on-chain features - Building payment, rewards, staking, and governance contracts - Reviewing code and helping establish engineering standards - Working with the team on architecture, performance, and security - Helping plan technical milestones as we move from PoC toward production - Mentoring other developers as the engineering team grows We're looking for someone who can balance long-term architecture with day-to-day execution. What We're Looking For - Strong experience building production smart contracts with Solidity - Good understanding of EVM networks and Web3 architecture - Experience designing token-based systems beyond a simple ERC-20 deployment - Strong understanding of blockchain security and common attack vectors - Comfortable reviewing code, solving difficult technical problems, and helping other developers - Startup mindset — practical, collaborative, and willing to get hands-on Why Join Us?
