Bookkeeper / CPA for Multi-Location Restaurant (Extensive NetSuite Experience Required)

We are a growing restaurant business with 2 locations seeking an experienced CPA to help manage and clean up our financials. We recently completed a NetSuite implementation and need support ensuring everything is set up correctly and running smoothly. This role will focus on reconciliation, ongoing bookkeeping, and financial oversight, with an emphasis on accuracy and strong systems knowledge. Key Responsibilities: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Review and clean up financial data post-NetSuite implementation Ensure proper setup and accuracy of NetSuite accounting workflows Manage day-to-day bookkeeping Assist with month-end close Review income, COGS, labor, and operating expenses Identify discrepancies and recommend improvements Work with our team to establish standard accounting processes Prepare reports and assist CPA/tax filings if applicable Requirements: Proven experience as a bookkeeper or CPA Strong experience with NetSuite (required) Experience working with restaurants or hospitality businesses (highly preferred) Solid understanding of: Reconciliation processes Chart of accounts Financial reporting Ability to audit and clean up books Detail-oriented and highly organized Strong communication skills Nice to Have: Experience with multi-location businesses Familiarity with POS integrations TOAST POS CPA license (preferred but not required) Project Scope: Initial project: Clean up and finalize NetSuite setup + reconcile accounts Ongoing opportunity for monthly bookkeeping + financial oversight
