Bookkeeper for UK eCommerce company / Xero

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to support a growing e-commerce business. Responsibilities include: Recording supplier bills, invoices, and expenses Categorising transactions correctly and applying appropriate VAT treatment Reconciling bank accounts and payment accounts Reconciling Shopify sales, refunds, fees, and payouts Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records Preparing and submitting VAT returns Identifying discrepancies and resolving reconciliation issues Advising on best practices and bookkeeping automation to improve efficiency Leveraging modern AI and automation tools to streamline bookkeeping processes Requirements: Strong bookkeeping experience for UK businesses Experience with Shopify and e-commerce accounting Good understanding of UK VAT rules Experience reconciling payment processors and e-commerce sales channels Comfortable using accounting software such as Xero Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to suggest process improvements Experience using AI and automation tools to improve productivity Please include: Your bookkeeping qualifications and years of experience.
