Bookkeeper

A bookkeeper that maintains complete, accurate, and timely financial records for the Firm by collecting and filing all invoices and source documents in an organized, audit-ready manner before recording any transaction. All journal entries must be entered into the accounting system properly coded to the correct GL account and supported by an attached copy of the underlying invoice or receipt. At the close of each month, the bookkeeper is responsible for reconciling the cash accounts, recording accrual and depreciation/amortization journal entries, and delivering a full close package — including financial statements and supporting schedules — to the Controller/CFO within 10 business days of month-end. Throughout the engagement, the bookkeeper must operate within the Firm's internal controls, maintain strict confidentiality of all financial and investor-related data, and escalate any unresolved discrepancies or unusual items to the Controller/CFO promptly rather than making independent judgment calls
