Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Content Strategy & Brand Messaging Lead who can own the entire content narrative for our clients, from uncovering what makes them different to directing how that story shows up everywhere a customer touches the brand. This role is about clarity and cohesion: someone who can extract a client’s unique value propositions, build a content strategy around them, and make sure the messaging stays consistent across the website, homepage, blog, social media, and ad scripts. We’re not interested in someone who just writes when handed a brief. We want a strategic thinker who can lead the narrative, brainstorm angles no one else is using, and direct multiple writers and teams to execute it at a high level. Requirements: • Excellent writing across formats, with the ability to shift voice between long-form blog content, punchy homepage copy, social captions, and video scripts (please include portfolio samples that show range) • Proven ability to identify and articulate unique value propositions, turning vague client positioning into sharp, differentiated messaging • Strong research skills, able to study a client’s industry, competitors, and audience to ground strategy in real insight rather than guesswork • Demonstrated experience building and owning content strategy, not just executing pieces in isolation • Platform fluency, with a clear understanding of how messaging should adapt across web, social, and paid channels • Team leadership, comfortable managing and directing copywriters, web content writers, social media teams, and ad creatives, and keeping output consistent across all of them • Multi-client capability, able to hold separate brand voices and strategies in your head without bleeding one into another Bonus if you: • Have experience writing or directing video and short-form scripts • Understand how content strategy connects to SEO, conversion, and the broader funnel • Have built messaging frameworks or brand voice guides from scratch • Can give clear creative direction and feedback that levels up the writers you manage Please do not apply if: • You can only execute briefs and need someone else to set the strategy • You write in one register and can’t flex across formats and platforms • You’ve never managed or directed other writers or creative teams • You can only handle one client at a time • Your samples are generic and could have been written for any brand About Us: We’re Cirqley, a digital marketing agency based in Seattle, Washington offering services such as web development, social media management, paid advertising, online business profile management, etc.. Our main clientele are legal firms but we also have clients in different verticals as well.
