Summary

What I need: A fully functional website for my food business, Hoff's (Mexican food, Houston/Tomball, TX area). Customers need to be able to browse the menu, order, and pay online. I need to be able to manage the menu and see incoming orders. Specific requirements: 1. Menu management I need to be able to add, edit, and delete menu items myself (name, description, price, category, photo) Ability to mark an item as sold out/unavailable without deleting it Changes I make should show up on the live site immediately, no redeploy needed 2. Customer ordering flow Browse the menu, organized by category Add items to a cart, adjust quantities, remove items Checkout: collect customer name, phone number, delivery or pickup option (with delivery address fields when applicable) Pay through Stripe — real, working payment processing Order confirmation shown to the customer after payment, plus a confirmation email 3. Order management system All orders need to land somewhere I can see them — customer info, items ordered, total, delivery/pickup details Ability to update order status (e.g., pending → preparing → completed) I should get notified (email at minimum) when a new order comes in 4. General requirements Real, working, production-ready site — not a demo or prototype Secure — this handles customer personal info and real payments Mobile-friendly, since most customers will order from their phones Deployed and live on my domain (hoffsrealfood.com) Existing progress / tech stack: I've been building this using an AI coding assistant (Claude Code) and have a partially built codebase using: Next.js 14 (App Router), React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS Supabase (database, authentication, file storage) Stripe Checkout (currently set up in test mode) Resend (for sending order emails) I don't have a development background, so I need you to review what already exists, tell me honestly what's usable versus what needs to be redone, and take it from there to a finished, working product. I can share the codebase for review. What I'm looking for in a developer: Experience with Next.js, Supabase, and Stripe specifically Able to review and work with existing/AI-generated code, not just build from a blank slate Clear communicator — I'll need things explained in plain terms
