Summary

This project starts as a paid 10,00-lead trial. If the data holds up, it becomes an ongoing role at 100,000+ leads per month, long-term. I need a lead researcher to build a list of B2B SaaS companies that have hit a "content wall": they invested in a blog, then went quiet. Every record must pass strict verification. Get the trial right and this becomes steady, high-volume, recurring work. REQUIRED TOOLING (you provide, I do not) - You must already have your own premium BuiltWith and/or Wappalyzer access for WordPress detection. I do not supply tool access or reimburse for it. No premium access, not the job. THE TARGET (every criterion required) - Vertical: B2B SaaS only (software companies) - Headcount: 2 to 20 employees. No solo founders or 1-person projects. - Market and language: site AND blog in English, serving English-speaking markets. HQ country does not matter; content language does. A non-English blog is rejected no matter what else checks out. - Platform: built on WordPress, confirmed via BuiltWith / Wappalyzer. - The BLOG itself must run on WordPress (where new posts would publish), not just the marketing homepage. If the blog is on HubSpot, Medium, Webflow, etc., reject it even if the main site is WordPress. - Content history: at least 20 existing blog posts (they already invested in content). - The content wall: last published post must fall in a 3-to-12-month window. More recent than 3 months means they're still publishing, skip. Older than 12 months means the blog is abandoned, skip. Sweet spot is 4 to 9 months. - Operating RIGHT NOW: must pass the Proof of Life standard below. A website that loads is NOT proof. Old reviews are NOT proof. PROOF OF LIFE (this is where most lists fail, read carefully) Two independent signals, each dated within the last 30 days, each with a working link. Fewer than two dated signals = rejected. At least ONE must be a HARD signal (proves they spend money or ship product right now): - Active job posting (hiring within 30 days) - Live paid ads (found in Meta Ad Library or Google) - Product update, release note, or changelog entry within 30 days - A review posted on G2, Capterra, or Trustpilot within 30 days Exclusion: if the only job posting is for a Content Marketer, SEO Manager, or similar content/marketing role, the lead does NOT qualify (they're about to solve this in-house). Find a different hard signal or drop the lead. The SECOND may be a SOFT signal: - Company social post within 30 days - Founder LinkedIn post or activity within 30 days Rule: "looks active" with no dated link does not count. Every signal needs a date AND a URL. THE CONTACT (strict, non-negotiable) - Direct email of the Founder, Owner, or CEO. - No generic addresses (no info@, contact@, hello@, support@). - Every email SMTP-verified. Unverified records are rejected. - Catch-all / accept-all domains must be flagged in their own column. SMTP "valid" on a catch-all does NOT count as verified and does not count toward the 10,000. - Founder LinkedIn URL must show them CURRENTLY in that role at this company. If the profile shows they've left, the lead is dead, drop it. NO DUPLICATES - One row per company. No duplicate domains, no two contacts at the same company, no same founder listed across multiple companies. Duplicates are rejected and do not count toward the total. DELIVERABLE (spreadsheet, one row per lead) - Company name - Site URL - WordPress confirmed (blog, not just homepage) - Content language (must be English) - Headcount (2 to 20) - Founder / Owner / CEO full name - Founder LinkedIn URL (currently in role) - Verified direct email (SMTP-verified, no generic) - Catch-all flag (yes / no) - Date of last published blog post (within the 3-to-12-month window) - Proof of Life signal 1 (HARD): type, date, link - Proof of Life signal 2: type, date, link STRUCTURE - Phase 1: Paid trial, 10,000 verified leads. - Audit gate: the first 100 leads are delivered and audited against this full spec before you build the rest. If too many miss, we fix the process at 50, not at 2,500. - Phase 2: On successful validation, ongoing contract at 100,000+ leads per month. I want a long-term partner, not a one-off pull. Then answer: 1) Do you currently have your own premium BuiltWith / Wappalyzer access? 2) How will you programmatically verify BOTH the last-published-post date AND business activity (Proof of Life) across thousands of domains at scale? 3) What is your SMTP verification process, how do you detect catch-all domains, and what bounce rate do you guarantee? Applications that don't start with X or don't answer all three get ignored.
