Summary

We are looking for a sharp, confident Business Acquisition SDR to help with seller conversations for small business acquisition opportunities. Our internal team already finds businesses, reviews opportunities, and runs the numbers. Your role is to handle the seller-facing side: outreach, calls, Zoom conversations, follow-ups, qualification, and moving interested owners toward the next step. This is not a basic email-only appointment-setting role. You must be comfortable speaking directly with business owners, asking thoughtful questions, building trust, identifying motivation, and professionally representing a buyer interested in acquiring profitable small businesses. What You’ll Do: Contact business owners from target lists provided by our team Hold phone and Zoom conversations with owners Build rapport and understand why the owner may want to sell Ask discovery questions about the business, owner involvement, team, revenue, cash flow, transition goals, and seller motivation Identify owners who may be open to flexible acquisition structures Book qualified follow-up calls or next-step meetings Keep clean notes in our CRM/pipeline tracker Follow up consistently with interested sellers Communicate clearly with our internal team after each seller conversation Qualified Seller Conversation Definition: A qualified seller conversation is with a real business owner who: Is willing to discuss selling or transitioning the business Owns a real operating business with cash flow Is open to discussing flexible acquisition terms Shares useful information about the business, their goals, and their timeline Agrees to a follow-up call, Zoom, or next step if there is a potential fit Who This Is For: You may be a good fit if you have experience in any of the following: Cold calling Appointment setting High-ticket sales Real estate acquisitions Real estate wholesaling Business brokerage M&A outreach B2B sales Deal negotiation Founder/owner outreach The most important thing is that you are strong on calls. You need to be calm, confident, professional, persistent, empathetic, and able to speak with business owners without sounding scripted or pushy. Important Requirements: Excellent spoken English Strong phone and Zoom presence Comfortable speaking with business owners Able to ask smart follow-up questions Able to take detailed notes Able to follow a process without needing constant supervision Comfortable with long-term follow-up Must understand that seller conversations are about trust, timing, and motivation — not hard selling What We Provide: Target business lists Outreach scripts Seller call questions Qualification criteria CRM/pipeline tracker Internal support team that reviews the numbers Clear instructions on what makes a seller/business worth pursuing This is a lean role for someone who wants a long-term opportunity, can perform consistently, and is excited about being involved in real acquisition conversations. To Apply: Please answer these questions: What experience do you have speaking with business owners, sellers, founders, landlords, investors, or decision-makers? Have you ever done cold calls, acquisition calls, high-ticket sales, real estate wholesaling, business brokerage, or M&A outreach? Are you comfortable handling phone and Zoom conversations, not just written outreach? How would you approach a business owner who is interested but hesitant to talk about selling? Send a short example of how you would open a call with a business owner who responded to outreach. Are you comfortable working within a structured process and updating a CRM after each call? Please start your proposal with the phrase: “Business Acquisition SDR” so I know you read the full post.
