Recruitment Business Development Assistant (Mining Sector) – Part-Time (8-Week Pilot) About T&T People Solutions T&T People Solutions is a specialist recruitment consultancy supporting the global mining industry. We partner with mining organisations to identify and attract technical and leadership talent across operations, projects, and corporate functions. Our expertise includes recruiting roles such as: * General Managers * Plant Managers * Project Managers * Engineering Managers * Technical Services Managers * Geologists (Production, Resource, Exploration) * Other technical and operational leadership positions within the mining sector Historically, we have worked extensively with Canadian mining companies operating across Latin America, and we are also looking to strengthen our presence in markets such as Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a proactive and organised Recruitment Business Development Assistant to support our client development efforts through an initial 6-week pilot project. This is not a recruitment sourcing role. It is a business development support role focused on creating opportunities and helping us build relationships with potential clients. ⸻ About the Role Your primary objective will be to support business development activities that generate qualified recruitment conversations for T&T People Solutions. You will help us reconnect with existing industry contacts, identify new opportunities within the mining sector, manage outreach activities, and ensure consistent follow-up through our CRM system. ⸻ Key Responsibilities * Review and organise existing contacts within RecruitCRM. * Re-engage previous clients, hiring managers, and existing industry contacts through professional email outreach. * Research and identify new prospect companies within the mining industry, with a focus on: * Canadian mining companies operating in Latin America. * Mining companies and contractors operating in Saudi Arabia. * Identify key decision-makers, including: * HR Managers * Talent Acquisition Managers * General Managers * Operations Managers * Country Managers * Technical leaders involved in hiring decisions. * Research professional contact information using publicly available and ethical methods. * Draft and send personalised business development emails using approved messaging templates. * Maintain accurate records of all outreach activities and follow-up actions within RecruitCRM. * Manage follow-up schedules to ensure opportunities are not missed. * Provide weekly reports outlining activities completed, responses received, and meetings generated. * Schedule meetings with interested prospects for the Director. ⸻ Essential Requirements * Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. * Previous experience supporting recruitment agencies, executive search firms, staffing companies, or business development teams. * Strong experience with CRM systems and managing follow-up processes. * Experience conducting professional prospect research using LinkedIn and other publicly available resources. * Active professional LinkedIn profile and understanding of how LinkedIn can be used for research and networking purposes. * Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. * Self-motivated and able to work independently. * Professional, relationship-focused communication style. ⸻ Highly Desirable * Experience supporting recruitment firms specialising in mining, engineering, industrial, or technical sectors. * Familiarity with Canadian mining companies operating internationally. * Experience supporting international business development activities. * Experience using RecruitCRM or similar recruitment CRM platforms. * Additional language skills are welcomed but not required. ⸻ Important Information This role does not involve: * Recruiting or sourcing candidates. * Closing sales opportunities. * Negotiating commercial agreements. * Cold calling. * Managing social media. * General administrative support. This role focuses on professional outreach, relationship building, follow-up management, and generating qualified business development opportunities. ⸻ Pilot Structure * Initial engagement: 6-week pilot project. * Estimated workload: 5–10 hours per week. * Fully remote position. * Potential for ongoing collaboration based on results and business needs. ⸻ Success Measures At the end of the 6-week pilot, success will be evaluated based on: * Consistent outreach and follow-up activities completed. * CRM records updated accurately and maintained effectively. * Qualified recruitment conversations generated. * Professional communication standards maintained. * Ability to work proactively and independently. A successful pilot would ideally result in 4–6 qualified recruitment meetings being generated during the engagement period. ⸻ Application Instructions Please include: 1.
