Business Development Consultant – Dedicated Email Eblast Opportunities (Part-Time/Fractional)

I'm looking for an experienced business development professional to help grow my personal training business by securing **dedicated promotional email broadcasts ("eblasts")** to highly targeted email lists. This specific post is to see how you handle this, so your only job is to find and negotiate one eblast. If you're successful, I'll hire you permanently to keep doing this. This is **not** a cold calling, appointment setting, social media, SEO, PPC or virtual assistant role. ## About Us Fitness Solutions Plus specializes in evidence-based health and fitness for adults over 50. We help people improve conditions such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, menopause, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and more through personal training, books, speaking engagements and online education. Over the years, we've had excellent results advertising through dedicated eblasts sent by organizations to their subscriber lists. I'm looking for someone to help us identify and negotiate many more of these opportunities. ## Your Mission Identify organizations with large, engaged email lists that closely match our target audience and negotiate opportunities for us to send **dedicated promotional eblasts** to their subscribers. These opportunities may be: * Paid * Complimentary * Negotiated at a reduced rate Your job is to find the highest-ROI opportunities—not simply the cheapest ones. ## What We Mean by a Dedicated Eblast We're ONLY interested in emails where: * The entire email is about our offer * We control the subject line * We control the email copy * We control the call-to-action * There is no competing content in the email We are **not** interested in: * Ads within newsletters * Sponsored articles * Banner ads * Social media promotions * Influencer marketing * General PR * SEO or PPC ## Responsibilities * Identify organizations with large, engaged email lists that reach adults over 50. * Evaluate list quality, audience demographics and advertising opportunities. * Identify and contact the appropriate decision-makers. * Negotiate dedicated eblast opportunities. * Recommend the opportunities with the strongest potential return on investment. * Build an ongoing pipeline of qualified eblast opportunities. ## Ideal Experience I'm interested in people with experience in areas such as: * Media Sales * Newsletter Advertising Sales * Publisher Relations * Advertising Sales * Business Development * Sponsorship Sales * Audience Development Healthcare experience is a bonus, but it is not required. ## Success in This Role Success will be measured by your ability to consistently identify and negotiate high-quality dedicated eblast opportunities that reach our target audience and produce profitable customer acquisition. ## Please Do NOT Apply If * Your experience is primarily appointment setting. * Your experience is primarily virtual assistant work. * Your experience is primarily lead generation without negotiating business opportunities. * You have little or no experience negotiating advertising, sponsorships or commercial relationships. ## To Apply Please answer the following questions: 1.
