Sales at Velosity is where new customers first discover the value of our platform — and we’re looking for someone who can guide prospects through that journey with clarity, confidence, and a strong command of our product. This role blends customer interaction, discovery, product demonstration, pipeline management, and consultative selling. About the Role You will prospect, qualify, and engage new potential customers while managing the full sales cycle inside Zoho CRM. You’ll learn our system quickly, understand each prospect’s business model, deliver compelling demos, prepare proposals, and ensure each deal is aligned with the outcomes and ROI the customer expects. This is a hybrid role: part business development, part sales engineering, part relationship manager. Key Responsibilities Prospecting & Lead Generation • Identify and research potential customers who would benefit from Velosity CPQ • Add, organize, and manage leads inside Zoho CRM • Use Zoho Marketing tools for follow ups, nurture sequences, and targeted outreach • Maintain consistent outbound activity (email, calls, LinkedIn, etc.) Discovery & Product Demonstrations • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect workflows, pain points, and success metrics • Learn Velosity’s platform quickly and explain it in clear, actionable terms • Deliver solo product demos that highlight value and ROI • Coordinate follow up demos with the Onboarding Specialist when deeper technical detail is needed Proposal Development & Deal Management • Prepare tailored proposals aligned with customer requirements and expected outcomes • Present and discuss proposals with prospects, addressing questions and objections • Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through close • Maintain organized documentation, task tracking, and CRM updates • Accurately forecast deals and maintain a clean, reliable pipeline Handoff & Internal Collaboration • Work closely with the Onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition after closing • Provide clear notes, expectations, and context to accelerate customer success • Collaborate internally to resolve issues and improve the sales process Required Skills & Qualities • Exceptional communication skills — articulate, confident, and customer friendly • Strong organizational ability — able to manage multiple prospects simultaneously • Fast learner — both in understanding new software systems and in grasping how different businesses operate • Business savvy mindset — able to connect product capabilities to real world ROI • Analytical and structured thinking — especially when mapping prospect needs to CPQ value • Professionalism and reliability in all customer interactions Preferred Background • Experience with Zoho CRM or Zoho Marketing tools • Experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or technical product sales • Familiarity with CPQ systems, product configuration, or rule based logic • Experience giving product demos or presenting software • Understanding of quoting, configuration, or manufacturing workflows is a plus What Success Looks Like • A growing pipeline of qualified prospects • High quality demos that clearly communicate Velosity’s value • Proposals delivered quickly and accurately • Deals closed efficiently and predictably • Smooth handoffs to the Onboarding team • Customers who begin onboarding with clear expectations and strong enthusiasm Project Details • Ongoing engagement with potential for long term work • Flexible hours but must be responsive during sales cycles • Remote work with customer facing responsibilities
