Business Development Specialist Needed to Help Salesforce Consulting Firm Win Contracts

Summary

I run Sensei 7, a Salesforce consulting company focused on helping businesses improve and implement Salesforce solutions. I’m looking for a business development specialist who can help identify opportunities, generate leads, conduct outreach, and help secure Salesforce consulting contracts. The ideal person has experience with B2B sales, lead generation, appointment setting, proposal support, and preferably some familiarity with Salesforce consulting, IT services, SaaS, CRM, or technology services. You do not need to be a Salesforce expert, but you should be comfortable understanding the value of Salesforce services and communicating that value to potential clients. This role may include researching target companies, finding decision-makers, writing outreach messages, sending LinkedIn/email outreach, tracking leads, helping set meetings, and supporting follow-up. I’m especially interested in someone who can help generate qualified conversations with companies that may need Salesforce administration, implementation, automation, reporting, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, or general CRM support. Responsibilities: Identify potential Salesforce consulting opportunities Research companies and decision-makers Build lead lists with contact information Draft and send outreach messages through LinkedIn and/or email Help book discovery calls or meetings Track outreach activity and lead status Suggest business development strategies for a small consulting firm Help refine messaging, positioning, and service offerings Ideal Qualifications: Experience in B2B business development, lead generation, or sales development Experience selling or generating leads for IT services, SaaS, CRM, consulting, or professional services Strong written communication skills Comfortable using LinkedIn, email, spreadsheets, and CRM-style tracking Able to work independently and provide weekly progress updates Salesforce industry familiarity is a plus, but not required Target Clients: Small to mid-sized businesses, nonprofits, local organizations, startups, or growing companies that need Salesforce help. Preferred Payment Structure: Open to hourly, fixed-rate, or a hybrid structure with performance-based bonuses for qualified meetings or closed deals.
