We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented freelancer based in the United States to assist with business information verification and customer experience research. This role involves contacting businesses, asking a standardized set of research questions, collecting publicly available information, and documenting your findings in a structured report. This is a remote, flexible position with ongoing work available for the right candidate. Responsibilities Contact assigned businesses during business hours. Follow a standardized research script. Verify business information and service availability. Gather information regarding: Services offered Estimate or consultation process Appointment availability General pricing (when voluntarily provided) Evaluate communication quality, professionalism, and responsiveness. Submit accurate reports after each completed assignment. Requirements Must currently reside in the United States. Excellent English communication skills. Professional phone etiquette. Reliable internet connection. Strong attention to detail. Comfortable making outbound business calls. Experience in customer service, market research, mystery shopping, quality assurance, or virtual assistance is an advantage but not required. Compensation Hourly Upwork contract.
