Client document workflow for a boutique advisory firm Scope: I run an advisory firm with a fully documented operations process: a 23-document template set and a written runbook specifying exactly what to build. I need the automation layer implemented, not designed. The design is done. What are the best approaches and tool stacks for end-to-end document workflow automation in a small professional services firm to automatically generating proposals, contracts, invoices, reports, and operational documents from a single database of record, routing them for e-signature, and filing them automatically? Compare n8n-based stacks with dedicated document automation platforms like Documate, Carbone, PandaDoc, and Docupilot. How do companies implement business process automation where a CRM or database record triggers document generation at each lifecycle stage? What is this architecture called and what are real implementation examples? Compare document generation tools that preserve branded Word/Google Docs templates with merge fields: Carbone, Docupilot, Documint, Google Docs API, PandaDoc. Which integrates best with n8n and Notion? What do experienced consultants recommend for automating the full document lifecycle (generate, approve, sign, file, archive) in an advisory firm, and what are the common failure points? Requirements: Proven n8n portfolio (show me similar builds), Notion API experience, Google Workspace APIs, at least one e-sign integration. You document every workflow so I can maintain it without you. Engagement: Fixed price against a milestone list I will provide (4 phases). Estimated [20–30] hours total.
